Join La Leche League of KY/TN, and Attachment Parenting International, on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Nashville, TN as we “Rock the World.” We will bring together national, regional, and local birth professionals, perinatal professionals, parents and grandparents, to provide support and education related to breastfeeding and parenting.

This fun-filled weekend in Nashville, TN will bring together people from across the nation and the region as we celebrate our breastfeeding and parenting journeys, the sisterhood we share, and the 25th anniversary of Attachment Parenting International.



The weekend kicks off with a pre-conference gathering on Friday night with special guest speaker, and author of
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Rebecca Wells. “Rock the World: Breastfeeding and Parenting Conference” begins Saturday at 9am with guest speakers La Leche League co-Founder Marian Tompson, Dr. Bill and Martha Sears, and additional speakers and panelists who are leaders in their fields on current topics. With an Exhibit Hall full of vendors, a Silent Auction, children’s activities, and a grand prize giveaway, there is something for everyone!


The weekend’s event ends on Saturday night at one of Nashville’s premier music venues, 3rd and Lindsley, with a benefit concert for Attachment Parenting International.

Additional Fees & Restrictions

Meals: Exhibitors will have the opportunity to purchase their meal(s) in advance, if they'd like to have lunch provided on site.

Promotions: We invite you to conduct sales, promotions, and give-a-ways at your table! See Exhibitor Contract/Guidelines for further details.

Conference Access: Exhibitors are granted access to the Exhibit Area only. Meals and access to conference sessions are purchased separately.  


All ads and exhibits must be compatible with La Leche League International (LLL) principles and policies and in adherence with the World Health Organization (WHO) International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes. Exhibits should not be obtrusive or detract from the primary purpose of the conference which is to reflect good mothering through breastfeeding.

An organization that advocates a particular procedure, method, or system related, however vaguely, to health, must have express, written permission from La Leche League in order to exhibit.

ENDORSEMENT:  Acceptance of an ad/exhibit does not constitute an endorsement by LLLI, LLL Alliance for Breastfeeding Education, or LLL of Kentucky-Tennessee. A disclaimer to that effect will be printed in the conference Program Book.

ITEMS/SERVICES Not Permitted

Neither the following products nor literature advertising, recommending, and /or suggesting their use are to be displayed, handed out, or sold:

  •         Artificial breast milk substitutes

  •         Baby bottles and nipples/teats except as used in conjunction with breast pumps and breastfeeding aid products

  •         Pacifiers and nipple shields

  •         Tobacco products and alcoholic beverages

  •         Any foods or beverages that are not wholesome and nutritious; any acceptable food or beverage exhibited may be pre-packaged with nutritional/ingredient list

  •         Contraceptives and/or contraceptive devices

  •            Sleep training services

  •         An organization that promotes a cause or supports either or both sides of a controversial medical, religious, or political issue.

ADVANCE APPROVAL REQUIRED FOR ALL EXHIBIT MATERIALS

        Exhibitors are required to submit a detailed list of items to be exhibited and/or sold.  Samples may be requested at a later date. A copy of all printed materials (brochures, catalogues, flyers, etc.) for each exhibit should be reviewed by the Area Coordinator of Events and/or the Area Coordinator of Leaders. The Area Coordinator of Events will preview the Exhibit Hall prior to the first time the Exhibit Hall is open. Exhibitors will be asked to remove any items, products, or materials that were not pre-approved or deemed inappropriate.

Application & Payment Deadlines

All applications are subject to review; space is limited. Acceptance is at the discretion of the Rock the World Conference committee.

*All donors and exhibitors must be WHO compliant. Review of WHO compliance by the Rock the World Conference committee will be conducted prior to approval.

Deadline for application submission is August 1, 2019.

All exhibitors will be notified by August 31, 2019 of application approval.

- Payment due within 7 days of application approval.

- Deadline for notice of promotional items is September 23, 2019.
